📋 Description
• Prepare accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial fire protection and fire sprinkler systems • Review plans, specifications, and bid documents • Manage the complete bidding process from opportunity identification through proposal submission • Submit competitive bids to help maintain a consistent project pipeline • Work within the company's established estimating processes and operational workflows • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate bid submissions • Track multiple bid opportunities while meeting strict deadlines
🎯 Requirements
• 5–8+ years of experience estimating fire protection, fire suppression, or fire sprinkler systems • Experience estimating U.S.-based commercial construction projects • Strong understanding of fire protection plans, specifications, and applicable industry standards • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Able to work independently with minimal supervision • Comfortable working during Eastern Time Zone business hours • Proven history of winning competitive bids—not just producing estimates • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining accuracy • Can contribute immediately with minimal training or onboarding • Experience working in a small, fast-paced construction environment • Full-time availability only • Proven estimating experience in fire protection, fire suppression, or fire sprinkler systems • Strong English communication skills • Reliable internet connection and remote work setup • Resume must be formatted in English • Must be amenable to working in the U.S. timezone
