📋 Description

• Lead the Finance function and elevate the existing team • Own annual budgeting, forecasting, planning and performance analysis • Support the Co-CEOs with investor reporting, performance updates and strategic materials • Oversee monthly, quarterly and yearly close, accounts payable/receivable, cash management and financial reporting • Manage bank approvals, treasury, contract reviews and interest rate optimisation • Build and maintain financial policies and controls • Identify opportunities for AI and automation to improve reporting • Coach and develop two direct reports • Partner with stakeholders to drive cost control and operational efficiency • Constructively challenge decisions with financial strategy • Report to the Co-CEO • Participate in role-fit, culture, technical assessment and Co-Founder interviews

🎯 Requirements

• Australian working rights required • CA or CPA qualification • Deep experience across financial control and operations, ideally in a SaaS startup, tech industry or high-growth business • Track record of achievements and impact in past roles • Interest in coaching and developing direct reports • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Exceptional analytical, modelling and problem-solving skills • Experience leading budget and forecasting cycles end-to-end • Entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset comfortable with ambiguity • Comfortable with BAU processes and larger strategic initiatives
