📋 Description

• Take full ownership of backend features and improvements, from design through implementation, deployment, and production support • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Python and Django, including asynchronous components where applicable • Write unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability, prevent regressions, and improve overall test coverage and testing practices • Estimate software development effort for features and long-term technical initiatives • Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to turn requirements into well-defined technical solutions • Participate in code reviews, help raise engineering quality, and contribute to technical decisions

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5+ years of development experience, with Python as the primary language • Strong experience building production backend systems with Django and asynchronous python (asyncio) • Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and concurrency • Experience in architecture design of highly loaded and scalable solutions • Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), including writing complex SQL queries, schema design, migrations, performance tuning • Experience with Redis for caching and state management in distributed systems • Strong understanding of the development cycle from requirements analysis and deployment to application monitoring • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
