📋 Description

• The North America Defense Application Engineer will be responsible for technical sales for defense-focused programs • Providing technical leadership across the sales project lifecycle, from requirements definition and system architecture through proposal submission, design reviews, and customer engagement • Act as a key technical interface with defense customers, prime contractors, and internal engineering, product management, and program teams to ensure solutions meet functional requirements, technical/environmental standards, and mission objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a closely related technical discipline from an accredited institution • Minimum of 5 years of progressive engineering experience, including application engineering, systems engineering, or power systems roles supporting complex technical programs • At least 3 years of experience writing technical proposals for electrical systems • Demonstrated experience working in defense, naval, or government‑funded programs, including direct interaction with customers and program stakeholders • U.S. Citizen • Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance • Ability to travel up to 20% based on the business needs
