📋 Description

• Performs a wide range of engineering tasks and ensures proper installation, service and commissioning of products and services. • Provides technical support for installation and commissioning of projects and provides maintenance, breakdown emergency support and remote troubleshooting. • Perform installation and commissioning on drive systems, power systems, automation systems or dynamic positioning systems at customer site locations during ship construction. • Performs troubleshooting activities at site locations during scheduled Port visits or at sea to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and implements corrective actions. • Develop documentation to execute work such as commissioning and maintenance procedures, as well as execute customer training. • Execute on site project management and technical leader duties to resolve customer issues and provide customer satisfaction. • Identify sales opportunities for service agreements, spare parts, training, and upgrades. • Provide on call support in response to customer calls for service. • Assist in the growth and direction of the North American business. • Complete timely service reports and other administrative requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university. • OR Associate's Degree or related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum 5 additional years of related industry experience. • OR High School diploma or GED equivalency with a minimum of 8 years of related industry experience. • Ability and willingness to travel 85% of the time​ on short notice
