• Oversee engineering activities of the project considering the Quality/Cost/Time Delivery criteria. • Plan overall design activities and manage project design budget. • Implement design change process and supervise necessary engineering activities. • Ensure technical coordination of GE Vernova Grid Solutions projects. • Provide optimized technical solutions aligning with customer expectations. • Responsible for managing global time schedule of engineering activities. • Issue consolidation of provisional drawing list of the project, integrating submission dates. • Ensure on-time delivery of design to stakeholders with suitable quality. • Coordinate technical interfaces between project partners (internal and external). • Lead and coordinate design teams and manage engineering budget.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical & Electronics Engineering • 6+ years of Engineering activities as lead HV Substation Design Engineer • Ensure compliance with relevant international standards such as IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, and CIGRE guidelines • Knowledge of Algerian Regulations, Standards, and Technical Requirements • Familiarity with the Algerian Electricity and Gas Law – notably Law 02-01 of February 5, 2002. • Understanding of CREG (Commission de Régulation de l'Électricité et du Gaz) rules and procedures. • Awareness of national grid codes, particularly for high-voltage installations. • Proven experience with technical requirements and specifications, especially for HV GIS substations • Knowledge of CCT (Cahier des Charges Techniques) documents • Experience with factory and site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT) as per protocols • Hands-on experience in HV GIS/AIS substations (132kV, 220kV, 400kV and above) • Successful experience in project technical management in a multi-disciplinary team’s context including multiple interfaces and with products coming from several countries. • Knowledge of project execution risks and financial processes. • Willingness to work in different locations for short or medium period and to travel worldwide • Experience of team building as lead engineer • Strong communication and persuasion skills • Fluency in French and English to communicate with international partners as well as the local clients in native language.
