âą Lead the completion of various regulatory work scopes, including working with GVH / GNF Engineering on major projects for the existing fleet of nuclear reactors. âą Coordinate and prepare Licensing Topical Reports (LTRs), including preparation of responses to customer and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) questions âą Help develop, resolve, and determine the effectiveness of condition reports âą Coordinate and review Licensing Topical Reports (LTRs), including preparation of responses to customer and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) questions âą Prepare licensing documentation and reports supporting customer License Amendment Request (LAR) applications âą Perform verification of task reports and engineering inputs âą Support customer 10 CFR 50.59 reviews, including preparation of Technical Safety Evaluation Reports and working with internal teams evaluating licensing status of various fuel, methods, and methodology changes âą Interface with customers and regulatory personnel on regulatory issues, and secure applicable permissions and approvals related to project scopes
âą Bachelor's Degree in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited university or college âą Minimum of 5 years of direct nuclear licensing experience including experience leading complex projects, direct involvement and expertise with 10 CFR Part 21, and providing regulatory guidance/direction to contributing functions (i.e, Engineering) âą Willingness and ability to travel occasionally. âą NRC Licensing process and regulatory knowledge / technical knowledge of one or more areas, such as nuclear fuel, operating plants, etc âą Excellent technical writing skills and oral communication skills with the ability to create technical reports suitable for a wide range of audiences âą Working knowledge of Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) systems, fuel, or operations âą Experience and demonstrated effectiveness in working / communicating with NRC personnel âą Experience working with industry groups (i.e., NEI and Owners Groups) on nuclear licensing matters âą Effective interpersonal and facilitation skills âą Process skills related to coordinating and documenting complex technical documents
