Gifted Savings is a nonprofit organization that gifts $1,000 investment portfolios to high school seniors and provides short, real-time financial education so students can learn to track and manage investments. The program gives students ownership of real assets that they unlock at age 18, aiming to increase financial inclusion, confidence, and lifelong asset-building among young adults. Gifted Savings operates as a 501(c)(3) charity that raises donations to fund student portfolios and partners with schools to run its program.

📋 Description

• Web application development from design to fully deployed product that functions seamlessly. • Translate product requirements and designs into high-quality, working software. • Identify and maintain pixel-perfect, site-wide design standards. • Collaborate with our lean, agile team working directly with product, design, and QA teams. • Report directly to the CTO, contributing to strategic decisions and the overall direction of our technology stack.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong JavaScript skills, React.js skills, and API best practices. • Excellent CSS/SCSS skills, capable of creating accurate, responsive designs. • Proven track record with 8+ years of relevant full-time work experience. • Ability to act as a technical lead on product features or initiatives. • Bonus if experienced with TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js, NodeJS, Prisma ORM or TailwindCSS. • Background in fintech, investment platforms, or financial technology is a plus.
