📋 Description

• Develop technically and commercially optimal system concepts for large rooftop photovoltaic installations in the commercial and industrial sectors • Prepare planning documentation • Conduct yield simulations and analyze factors influencing energy yield and Performance Ratio • Optimize system concepts in terms of yield, technical feasibility, quality, and investment costs • Assess technical variants and prepare robust decision-making materials • Account for shading, system losses, degradation, and site-specific conditions • Support P50/P90 assessments and questions relating to yield certainty and bankability • Serve as the technical interface for Sales, project teams, external EPC partners, consultants, and testing institutes • Ensure transparent, traceable planning documentation as the basis for project execution • Further develop planning processes, technical standards, and quality assurance measures • Identify recurring tasks and develop solutions to automate them • Use digital and AI-powered tools for analyses, documentation, and internal workflows • Support the selection, evaluation, and implementation of new planning and automation tools • Share technical expertise and support the sustainable scaling of GIGA.GREEN

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in engineering or another technical field • Several years of professional experience in the technical planning of photovoltaic systems, ideally in the commercial and industrial sectors • Experience with DC system design and the preparation of layout, string, and cable plans • Proficiency in AutoCAD and a relevant simulation or planning tool, such as PV*SOL or PVsyst • Good understanding of system yield, Performance Ratio, system losses, and degradation • Interest in digital and AI-powered tools • Knowledge of PVcase, Python, scripting, or APIs is a plus • Structured and independent working style • Enjoyment of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders • Fluent German and good English skills
