• Build practical training decks, job aids, quick-reference sheets, and step-by-step guides for new survey designs, program changes, and Salesforce releases • Write internal communications tailored to Country Directors, Program Directors, Field Managers, Assistant Field Managers, and Field Officers • Deliver live training sessions in person or remotely and record screen-capture demo videos • Build a reusable training and materials library • Write and maintain release notes and change documentation for the common Salesforce build • Produce or adapt materials across English, Portuguese, and French, managing translation support where needed • Provide ad-hoc support to the Program Design team, including briefings, deck editing, meeting notes, action tracking, and cross-country follow-up • Identify recurring field questions and unexplainable designs, and relay feedback to design owners • Support the 2027 Salesforce rollout and 2028 pilot materials • Travel roughly once per quarter at minimum, with additional travel during rollout waves, to deliver training in person and observe field use • Report to Sarah Kenkuyu, Senior Manager Product, LLS
• Prior experience as a Field Officer, or in a directly equivalent frontline data-collection or enrollment role, at GiveDirectly or a comparable cash transfer, humanitarian, or survey organization • Excellent written English: clear, short, and organized • Professional working proficiency in Portuguese or French, including written • Experience producing training or instructional material, and delivering training live to groups • Ability to translate technical or system changes into plain, practical instruction • Organized and self-directed enough to run a queue of requests from several stakeholders and identify when it is over capacity • Willingness to travel to field sites, including rural and low-infrastructure locations • Additional languages spoken in countries of operation are a plus • Comfort recording and lightly editing screen-capture demo videos (e.g., Loom or similar) preferred • Familiarity with Salesforce, CommCare, and Call Center Studio preferred • Experience writing release notes, product documentation, or change communications preferred • Formal training in instructional design or adult learning preferred • Experience delivering training across languages or working with interpreters and translators preferred • Progression from Field Officer into a supervisory role preferred
