📋 Description

• Lead the team’s most complex and ambiguous projects across identity and access, connectors and tools, and customer data foundation • Shape problems with Product • Design system architecture and take projects to production • Build authentication and authorization capabilities across the platform • Develop multi-tenant, auditable integrations connecting customer systems to governed AI-agent tools and automated workflows • Contribute to a customer data foundation providing an AI-ready view of each customer • Establish foundational architectural patterns adopted by other teams • Mentor several engineers • Participate in hiring • Help shape the team’s technical direction and raise engineering standards • Collaborate remotely with engineers in Estonia and Poland

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 8+ years of professional experience • Experience with production programming languages; core needs may involve Elixir, Go, or Ruby • Strong command of containerized cloud infrastructure, especially AWS • Experience with event-driven architecture • Experience architecting distributed, multi-tenant systems • Experience leading complex, ambiguous projects from idea to production • Experience with authentication and authorization, such as OAuth2/OIDC, token-based authentication, or fine-grained permissions • Hands-on experience building third-party integrations at scale, or both integrations and authentication/authorization • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code to design, build, review, and ship software • Ability to direct AI agents and verify their output • Ability to work across different technology stacks • Experience in fintech or another regulated industry is a plus • Experience building with LLMs or agentic systems, including tool calling or MCP, is a strong plus • Mentoring experience, participation in hiring, and contribution to technical direction • Commitment to data privacy and security-by-design • Must be based in Estonia or Poland • Ability to work in the Eastern European time zone (EET/EEST)
