• Prepare and file multiple-year amended individual (Form 1040) and business income tax returns (Form 1120 and 1065), including supporting schedules and disclosures • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IRS rules and applicable state regulations • Review previously filed tax returns to identify errors, omissions, or compliance gaps • Investigate tax filing histories as part of tax resolution cases (e.g., missing returns, discrepancies, underreporting) • Assist in reconstructing financial information when records are incomplete or unavailable • Work closely with senior tax preparers, enrolled agents, CPAs, or attorneys on resolution strategies • Follow firm procedures, documentation standards, and data-security policies • Maintain organized workpapers and supporting documentation for audits, reviews, and resolution cases
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. • 5+ years of experience in tax accounting or related field. • Strong knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and reporting. • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Willing to work US hours.
