📋 Description

• Assist the Finance Manager in the timely and accurate production of financial information • Support day-to-day accounting and period-end procedures • Perform journal entries and ensure correspondence with supporting documentation • Assist with preparing and compiling information for external audits • Liaise with stakeholders by providing supporting documents and resolving accounting issues and discrepancies • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks • Assist in preparing financial and administrative reports • Support maintenance of the contract database • Assist with cash reporting and bank reconciliation • Maintain, update, and document internal controls and the GRI manual for financial procedures • Support preparation and execution of payments through electronic banking • Act as system administrator for the travel and expense management platform

🎯 Requirements

• Professional education on at least Bachelor level (e.g. HEAO-BE or SPD Bookkeeping) • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in an international environment • Thorough understanding of administration relating to Accounting • Proven accounting and analytical skills • Experience with finance software • Detail orientation, accuracy, and attention to detail • Ability to set priorities while remaining flexible and customer-oriented • Clear interaction and communication skills • Ability to work in a team • Fluency in English, written and spoken • Intermediate Dutch, reading and understanding • Ability to deliver high-quality service • Ability to work in an international and multicultural setting • Affinity with GRI’s mission
