📋 Description

• Join the development team, taking ownership of work items for development in each Sprint. • Perform development-related activities — with emphasis on programming — such as analysis and design, testing and coding. • Required knowledge: agile software development principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP) and Kanban; analysis of functional, non-functional and agile requirements; design patterns (enterprise integration patterns, design patterns, SOA, microservices patterns); relational data modeling; three-tier application architecture and MVC model; responsive interfaces and Progressive Web Apps (PWA); system integration: Messaging, JMS, Web services, Enterprise Service Bus (WebSphere Message Broker), REST, EJB 3; JavaScript, ECMAScript 5 and 6 or higher, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS 1.5 or higher and Bootstrap 3 or higher, HTML5, XML, CSS3 and ASP; user experience (UX) and usability concepts; continuous integration (CI), Jenkins; test-driven development (TDD), acceptance test-driven development (ATDD), specification by example, refactoring, continuous delivery (CD); software testing: unit, integration, system/functional, acceptance/story, load, performance, vulnerability, usability and accessibility testing. • Test automation: automation of functional, unit and load tests using software tools. Unit testing in Java with JUnit 3 or higher. Functional test automation with Selenium WebDriver 2.4 or higher and Protractor. Load testing with JMeter 2 or higher. • Java programming for the web: JEE 6 or higher, JSE 5 or higher, JSF 2.x, JPA 2 and Struts 1.x; Java SWING application development. • Static code analysis with SonarQube; building database queries using SQL; version control concepts and experience with ClearCase and Git; experience using the Eclipse IDE; application server configuration; API design; microservices and container-based application design; multi-tenancy application architecture; and solutions for Batch processing in Java.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering or other Information Technology fields; OR a Bachelor’s degree in any field plus a postgraduate specialization in Information Technology. • Required certification: Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or higher). • Desirable: CSD – Certified Scrum Developer. • PSD – Professional Scrum Developer.
