📋 Description
• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Lithuanian GAAP and IFRS (where applicable). • Lead the year-end audit process and act as the main liaison with external auditors and accounting service providers. • Ensure compliance with MiCA, AML/CFT, and tax regulations, maintaining complete and accurate records for regulatory filings. • Supervise accounting for crypto-asset transactions, including valuation, custody reconciliations, and revenue recognition. • Implement and improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and reporting automation. • Support the CFO in group consolidation, liquidity reporting, and management reporting. • Coordinate intercompany accounting for Lithuanian, Swiss, and UK entities. • Monitor updates to accounting, tax, and crypto-related regulations, ensuring company readiness and compliance.
🎯 Requirements
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or chief accountant role. • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or local equivalent) is a strong advantage. • Solid understanding of Lithuanian accounting standards, IFRS, and tax legislation. • Experience working in a financial institution, fintech, or crypto-asset company preferred. • Hands-on experience with accounting systems (e.g., Navision, SAP, or similar). • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple entities. • Fluency in English and Lithuanian (both written and spoken) required.
