📋 Description

• Own the knowledge plane, including project conventions, reusable agent procedures, source indexing, and enforcement • Build artifact-based verification gates that inspect test and coverage changes, including protected paths for tests and CI configuration • Design least-privilege authority and identity systems with short-lived agent credentials and commit attribution • Calibrate autonomy tiers based on reversibility and incident history • Engineer containment through circuit breakers, workflow ceilings, progressive exposure, and rollback • Own intake, deduplication, routing, gate logging, and the evaluation harness • Run an improvement ritual using dated incidents, thresholds for creating rules, and recurring cost-versus-prevention reviews • Lead development of a client pipeline where business users initiate work, AI agents implement it, and engineers review outcomes • Make decisions about how the system operates under a full-time dedicated client engagement

🎯 Requirements

• Based in Latin America, with enough timezone overlap for daily collaboration with a U.S.-based engineering team • 10+ years in software engineering • Deep CI/CD and platform experience, including building pipelines other engineers depend on • Strong software engineering ability • Security instincts covering least privilege, credential scope, blast radius, and untrusted input • Testing judgment, including measuring test flake rate and validating test artifacts • Hands-on experience driving coding agents on real work • Cross-functional operating experience with SRE, security, legal, and support teams • Strong writing ability for conventions, procedures, incident records, and policy arguments • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
