📋 Description

• Build precise mechanical files from approved direction, ensuring alignment to dielines, bleeds, safety, and print specifications across cartons, labels, inserts, and secondary packaging • Create bottom labels and update copy-heavy files • Prepare vendor-ready artwork with correct color builds, overprint/knockout, trapping, white/varnish/foil plates, and separations; package assets with linked files and fonts • Design simple, commercially viable fragrance collections optimized for mass retail • Translate brand and creative direction into scalable SKUs, size variants, and line extensions while maintaining consistency across formats and substrates • Preflight and quality-control all files; manage revisions, feedback, and version control • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve manufacturability issues and adjust layouts based on proofing, color targets, and press checks • Maintain asset libraries, naming conventions, dieline repositories, spec sheets, and production checklists • Ensure compliance with retailer guidelines and regulatory/labeling requirements, including FPLA, barcodes, and claims placement as applicable • Support cost reduction through material/finish choices, efficient layouts, gang runs, and plate/finish consolidation • Create presentation-ready mockups and simple sell-in decks as needed

🎯 Requirements

• English fluency • Based in Latin America • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related field; or equivalent professional experience • 3+ years in packaging production design (CPG/beauty/fragrance or related) • Expert in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for packaging production workflows • Strong typography skills, including hierarchy, legibility, kerning, and grid systems • Solid prepress and print production knowledge, including Pantone/CMYK, spot colors, foil/emboss plates, varnishes, dielines, and substrates • PowerPoint is a plus • 3D rendering experience using tools such as KeyShot, Adobe Dimension, Blender, or Cinema 4D is a plus • Basic understanding of packaging engineering/CAD workflows and vendor collaboration is a plus
