• Sourcing the most compelling stories on the platform to pitch to local, regional and national media outlets • Staying abreast of the news happening in designated regions • Responding to reporter inquiries • Supporting the team during every day and in crisis moments • Building connections with media and other key internal and external stakeholders

• Impeccable writing and communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Knowledge of the media landscape • Basic writing and communication skills • Strong desire to help our fundraiser organizers and nonprofits achieve success • Ability to spot a compelling story.
