📋 Description

• Gain hands-on experience working with in-house counsel on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. • Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law pertaining to advertising and FDA/FTC regulatory compliance. • Support the Regulatory Attorney in reviewing marketing materials, advertisements, and promotional campaigns for compliance with legal requirements. • Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies, procedures, and training programs to promote awareness and adherence to regulatory requirements. • Communicate relevant updates to stakeholders regarding changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends. • Draft legal memoranda, reports, and correspondence to provide insights and recommendations on compliance matters. • Assist in maintaining corporate records, entity databases, and governance documents. • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives across both regulatory and commercial workstreams. • Assist attorneys and staff with ad-hoc research, project-based work, and help organize and maintain the department’s shared resources and document repositories.

🎯 Requirements

• Current Law Student; college degree required • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment. • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal. • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with attorneys and cross-functional teams. • Competent in interpreting statutes and regulations to assess their applicability and impact on specific legal issues, particularly in advertising and health and wellness. • Basic understanding of contract structure, common legal terms, negotiation principles, and corporate governance concepts. • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. • Proficiency with technology tools including Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, AI technology, and contract management systems for efficient document management and research. • Research and writing proficiency consistent with law school training. • Prior experience in a corporate or legal environment (preferred)
