📋 Description

• Own the Platform domain as an internal product serving multiple product teams. • Define the platform strategy, roadmap, priorities, and success metrics. • Drive platform scalability, reliability, and engineering excellence. • Own custody infrastructure, including Fireblocks, Uphold, and similar providers. • Ensure secure asset storage, withdrawals, deposits, and fund movements. • Improve operational reliability across wallet infrastructure. • Own KYC, Travel Rule, and compliance-related platform capabilities. • Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory readiness, including MiCA requirements. • Improve verification flows and customer onboarding performance. • Define and maintain platform SLA and uptime targets. • Establish incident management, monitoring, and operational excellence processes. • Improve deployment reliability and platform resilience. • Lead a cross-functional platform team. • Mentor engineers and technical leads. • Drive architectural decisions and engineering standards. • Build a strong engineering culture focused on quality and ownership. • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Operations teams. • Introduce and scale inner-source engineering practices across product teams. • Support strategic platform initiatives and future technology migrations. • Platform uptime and SLA. • KYC pass rate. • Time-to-deposit. • Time-to-withdraw. • Platform stability and incident reduction. • Engineering velocity and platform adoption across product teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years leading platform, infrastructure, or core engineering teams. • Experience owning shared platform services used by multiple product teams. • Strong experience in fintech, payments, digital banking, crypto, or financial infrastructure. • Practical experience with custody platforms such as Fireblocks or similar solutions. • Deep understanding of KYC providers, Travel Rule, AML, and regulatory compliance. • Experience defining and managing platform reliability, SLA, uptime, and incident management processes. • Strong Node.js background with the ability to review architecture and production code. • Experience building and scaling engineering organizations. • Experience owning platform budgets, roadmaps, and business priorities. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
