• Leads the launch of a new membership program by planning and executing membership and communications strategy. • Develops innovative approaches to generate online and offline opportunities. • Collaborates with National Field Director and State Field Directors for strategic organizing plans. • Works with the National Political Director to mobilize voters. • Ensures compliance and reporting of all membership-related activities. • Develops communication plans for member engagement and shares success stories.
• 3-5+ years experience in membership engagement, campaigning, organizing, communications, advocacy or similar work, preferably in the political or renewable energy field. • Strong writing skills with ability to adapt tone based on audiences. • Experience writing communications with email programs such as Engaging Networks, Twilio or mobile via MobileCommons. • Competency in utilizing CRMs (such as Salesforce) and digital campaigning tools (VAN, Thrutext/Thrutalk, Mobilize and others). • Ability to communicate across diverse demographics and political spectrum. • Strong analytical skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
