📋 Description

• Own day-to-day security operations • Support the company's compliance programs • Serve as the company's security point of contact in a sole-coverage role • Work hand-in-hand with the small DevOps team, with DevOps support for execution • Perform hands-on cloud security engineering across AWS-first infrastructure • Triage security alerts and respond to cloud incidents • Implement Terraform changes through pull requests • Apply Kubernetes security practices, including RBAC and workload hardening • Manage vulnerability scanning, prioritization, and remediation coordination • Support SOC 2 audits by providing control evidence and working with auditors • Address CI/CD and software supply-chain security

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be located in Colombia or Costa Rica • Hands-on AWS security: IAM and least-privilege design, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and CloudTrail • Security alert triage and incident response in cloud environments • Comfort working in Terraform and shipping changes through pull requests • Kubernetes security fundamentals, including RBAC and workload hardening • Vulnerability management: scanning, prioritization, and coordinating remediation with engineers • Experience supporting SOC 2 audits, including control evidence and working with auditors • CI/CD and supply-chain security awareness, including GitHub Actions and dependency/image scanning • Preferred: CrowdStrike Falcon administration, including endpoint and cloud/container sensors • Preferred: CMMC, NIST 800-171, GCC High, or FedRAMP exposure • Preferred: Azure security, including Microsoft Defender, ACR, and Azure DevOps • Preferred: Cloudflare Zero Trust (WARP) and WAF • Preferred: Golden image/AMI build pipelines using Packer • Preferred: Python scripting for security automation • Comfort working alongside AI coding agents
