📋 Description

• Influence the roadmap and personal career objectives • Work with the team to deliver new features and iterate based on results • Drive projects from ideation through operations after customer release • Contribute to open-source projects beyond the team’s direct scope • Design, build, operate, and maintain Grafana’s mobile application • Own the mobile application’s reliability, performance, and availability • Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of the application • Mentor and support team members • Participate in design discussions and collaborate with the team • Learn the cloud product, customer needs, and large distributed-system codebase

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be based in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Spain, or Germany • Experience with at least one native mobile platform (Android or iOS) • Strong experience building production Flutter apps, including state management, navigation, asynchronous programming, and architecting maintainable codebases • Experience taking mobile features from idea to release, including clarifying requirements, exploring solutions, building, testing, CI/CD workflows, and shipping updates to the App Store and Google Play • Comfort integrating mobile apps with backend APIs and cloud services • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and performant code • Independent attitude and good communication skills • Motivated self-starter with a bias toward action • Customer-focused approach • Ability to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, gather data and feedback, and iterate • Bonus: experience using Grafana and Prometheus in operational roles • Bonus: exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems • Bonus: familiarity with on-call, operations/SRE tasks, or infrastructure as code • Bonus: experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
