📋 Description

• Influence the product roadmap and personal career objectives • Collaborate with the team to deliver, iterate, and improve new features • Drive projects from ideation through operations and customer use • Contribute to open-source projects beyond the team’s direct scope • Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems • Own system reliability, performance, and availability • Participate in on-call rotations and own operated services • Mentor and support team members • Participate in design discussions and collaborate with the team • Develop understanding of Grafana Cloud, customers, and a large distributed-system codebase • Build distributed systems for scalable alert ingestion, delivery, and evaluation of Prometheus- and Grafana-managed alerts

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience with at least one programming language; familiarity with Go, Python, Java, C++, Rust or similar • Experience delivering projects from requirements gathering and ideation through shipping to customers • Experience developing software that runs in the Cloud or experience with systems engineering • Experience writing clean, robust, performant, and maintainable software • Motivated self-starter with a bias toward action • Customer-focused mindset • Ability to create intuitive products fitting customer needs • Ability to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, gather feedback, and iterate • Good communication and collaboration skills in a fully remote setup
