📋 Description
• Develop and refine CAD models for aerospace-related engineering projects • Perform simulations and engineering analysis using industry-standard tools • Translate engineering requirements into simulation workflows and technical models • Validate and optimize designs based on simulation outcomes • Work with aerospace and mechanical engineering datasets and specifications • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering stakeholders • Document methodologies, assumptions, processes, and results • Support evaluation and improvement of engineering workflows and outputs • Contribute to technically rigorous aerospace design initiatives
🎯 Requirements
• Advanced degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (PhD preferred) • 8+ years of experience in CAD engineering and simulation-focused environments • Strong aerospace or mechanical engineering fundamentals • Hands-on experience with aerospace modeling, simulation, or design projects • Proficiency with CAD and simulation tools such: • - Mechanical: FreeCAD, CalculiX, Gmsh, ParaView, Python, Cura/PrusaSlicer • - Electrical: KiCad, ngspice, Qucs-S, Python, Octave, FEMM, openEMS • - Aerospace: OpenRocket, OpenVSP, XFoil, AVL, OpenFOAM/SU2, FreeCAD, Python • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
