📋 Description

• Prepare manure spreading plans for livestock farms and anaerobic digestion facilities • Monitor ICPE compliance files for livestock operations, particularly projects and inspections • Monitor regulatory developments relating to ICPE regulations and the Nitrates Directive • Support the lead anaerobic digestion advisor with selected services • Prepare CAP applications and support farmers with their applications • Organize training sessions and draft regulatory bulletins for farmers • Contribute to the development of the anaerobic digestion sector, particularly through agronomic services, the development and monitoring of trials, and agronomic advice for anaerobic digestion projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum three years of higher education) in agriculture, agronomy or environmental studies • Alternatively, a two-year post-secondary qualification with relevant experience • Knowledge of agronomy and environmental issues • Understanding of how farms operate • Knowledge of agricultural regulatory requirements • Knowledge of the Lorraine region is an advantage • Proficiency with IT tools • Rigorous, organized, self-directed and able to prioritize • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with the agricultural community • Ability to lead activities and explain concepts clearly • Strong writing skills • Enjoys providing advice and working as part of a team • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
