📋 Description

• Develop and implement real-time automation controls and information solutions • Conceptualize solutions during the design phase of the project life cycle • Program, debug, and test systems • Create project engineering notes, project proposals, project design traceability documentation, case studies, and other documentation • Commission new solutions at client sites • Identify opportunities for improvements • Create methodologies and solve complex problems • Learn new technologies • Mentor colleagues on areas of expertise and knowledge • Develop real-time automation solutions from the manufacturing plant floor to the enterprise level • Work with programming, configuration, and design tools across PLC/PAC, HMI, SCADA, networking, databases, and vision systems

🎯 Requirements

• Successful or upcoming completion of B.Sc. Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering Technology degree • At least 5-7 years of working experience with some or all the listed technologies • Experience with PLC and PAC programming • Experience with operator interface and HMI application design • Experience with SCADA design • Experience with network design • Experience with database design • Experience with vision system design • Meticulous, conscientious, analytical, focused, self-starter individual, who is a quick learner • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Valid driver's license • Full-time access to a personal vehicle • Willingness to travel up to 30-50% within USA • Experience in food and beverage and life sciences industries preferred • Experience in DeviceNet, ControlNet, DH+, Remote IO, and Modbus preferred but not necessary • Experience with Python, Historian (PI System), and databases is a plus
