📋 Description

• Engineer and implement real-time automation controls and information solutions • Contribute concepts during the design phase of the project life cycle • Program, debug, and test systems • Create project engineering notes, project proposals, project design traceability documentation, case studies, and other documentation • Commission new solutions at client sites and identify improvement opportunities • Create methodologies and solve complex problems • Learn new technologies • Mentor colleagues on areas of expertise and knowledge • Develop real-time automation solutions from the manufacturing plant floor to the enterprise level • Collaborate with clients to solve manufacturing and industrial information problems

🎯 Requirements

• Successful or upcoming completion of B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering Technology degree • At least 5–7 years of working experience with some or all listed technologies • Experience in PLC and PAC programming, HMI application design, SCADA design, network design, database design, or vision system design • Meticulous, conscientious, analytical, focused, self-starter individual who is a quick learner • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Valid driver's license • Full-time access to a personal vehicle • Willingness to travel up to 30–50% within the USA • Experience in food and beverage and life sciences industries preferred • Experience with DeviceNet, ControlNet, DH+, Remote IO, and Modbus preferred but not necessary • Experience with Python, Historian (PI System), and databases is a plus
