📋 Description
• Do you enjoy tackling challenging assignments? Does even the smallest risk escape your eagle eye? Then the role of Senior Auditor at Grant Thornton is exactly what you’re looking for. • Our diverse clients – from SMEs to Belgian branches of multinational companies – rely on you to maintain the quality of their processes. • As a trusted advisor, you identify operational weaknesses with your clients and map out financial or accounting risks. • Within our Audit & Assurance department, you will be involved with consolidated financial statements, periodic financial reports, and other audit tasks. • Operational tasks such as preparing the audit program and establishing control procedures are also part of your responsibilities. • As a senior staff member, you’ll mainly focus on engaging and complex assignments. • You work primarily on client sites, so you’ll have a lot of direct, personal contact.
🎯 Requirements
• You have a bachelor’s degree in accountancy-taxation or a master’s degree with a specialization in this field. • You have at least two years of experience in an audit role. • You express yourself fluently in Dutch, and English. • Knowledge of French is a plus. • You are Client-oriented and think outside the box: proactively looking for solutions tailored to your clients’ business realities. • You are flexible and able to travel to our various offices and those of your clients.
