📋 Description

• Support the implementation of the project quality program as appropriate • Conduct welder performance qualification testing and document tests • Establish and maintain quality and related documentation in support of the implemented program • Perform inspection to assure the quality of the work is in conformance with the project quality program and specifications • Locally coordinate quality activities with the Owner and Authorized Inspection agency • Monitor subcontractor quality on multi-employer projects • Maintain close coordination and communication with the Site Quality Manager • Support the development of work and test package preparation • Work as a team player to support product realization • Coordinate with subcontractors and Third Party Inspection & Testing Companies • Monitor control and issuance of welding electrodes • Support nonconformance reporting

🎯 Requirements

• A proven track record performing all responsibilities as detailed above • Current CWI • Be willing to travel or relocate to the project site for the duration of the project which is projected to be 10-12 months • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a quality representative in a heavy industrial setting • Experience working in a union environment • Strong computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel); strong report writing skills required • Effective oral and written communication skills required • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and interact with client representatives, project managers, and superintendents required • Ability to analyze complex problem, evaluate alternatives, and make creative recommendations • Strong attention to detail, organization skills and the ability manage multiple, competing priorities
