• Provide technically competent Loss Control Services in accordance with company policies and procedures • Provide support services within the territory to help acquire and retain profitable business • Conduct surveys and services for commercial risks of any size/complexity for workers' compensation coverage • Manage account scheduling and activities for the assigned territory • Meet or exceed service standards • Accomplish risk improvement by providing management consultation services • Conduct loss control services and training for customers • Maintain specialized knowledge of relevant Federal, State, and codes and regulations applicable to workers' compensation coverage
• Bachelor's degree • 7 to 9 years of loss control experience working for a major writer of workers' compensation insurance preferred • Strong workers' compensation knowledge required • Ability to conduct training programs and classes for clients • Basic knowledge of underwriting and product management skills • Broad knowledge of commercial lines of insurance coverage, engineering principles, loss control concepts, and safety standards and codes • Industry designations preferred: Associate in Risk Management, Certified Engineering Technician, Certified Safety Professional, or a degree in Engineering • Extensive use of computers and software programs required
