📋 Description

• Manage and support the veterinary nursing team • Mentor, train, and develop nurses across all experience levels • Build a positive and collaborative team culture • Support veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, and procedures • Undertake surgical nursing, pathology, hospital nursing, and team-based consulting • Provide emergency and critical care nursing support when required • Manage stock and inventory • Support workflow management and operational efficiency • Assist with administrative and reception duties when required • Handle client enquiries in person, by phone, and via email • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs alongside the Practice Manager • Identify opportunities to improve processes and clinic performance • Remain actively involved in hands-on nursing and patient care

🎯 Requirements

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent • Minimum of 3+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experience • Leadership, mentoring, or senior nursing experience, or readiness to step into a leadership role • Strong surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring skills • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities • Strong communication and customer service skills • Experience with RxWorks is desirable but not essential • Calm, friendly, empathetic, and professional approach • Positivity and a team-first attitude
