• Drive revenue growth and expand market presence for distributed energy initiatives. • Shape go-to-market strategy and develop bespoke solar PV solutions for commercial clients. • Oversee technical assessments and collaborate with engineering teams for solution viability. • Develop proposals and manage commercial negotiations and contracts. • Monitor sales performance and provide market insights to support business growth.
• A degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Environmental Science, or a related discipline is essential. A master’s qualification is desirable. • Additional qualifications in business, sales, or project management are desirable. • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies is essential; knowledge of solar PV systems is an advantage. • Experience delivering contracts under FIDIC and/or NEC frameworks is desirable. • Proven experience within the construction or engineering sector is essential. • 7–10 years’ experience in technical sales or business development, ideally within renewable energy or engineering services. • Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales lifecycle, from client engagement through to contract close. • Experience preparing and managing tenders for public and/or large-scale private sector projects. • Strong commercial acumen, including contract negotiation and working with legal and procurement teams. • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally. • Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel across Ireland as required. • Full right to work in UK. • Flexibility to attend industry events and client engagements outside standard business hours where required.
