📋 Description
• Drive BESS, and transformer upgrades from initial site feasibility and supplier assessment through to grid connection, commissioning, and final handover in partnership with the Project Manager. • Produce robust AC/DC designs, cable schedules, and tender documents. • Act as the definitive technical voice from the feasibility stage with the customer to on-site during commissioning. • Develop complete project tender packages, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), while actively managing project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
🎯 Requirements
• 5 to 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer within the power generation, renewables or utilities industry. • An Electrical Craft Certificate is advantageous but not essential. • Deep, practical knowledge of BESS integrations, medium-voltage installations, and earthing. • Highly capable of reading, understanding, and producing complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD. • A valid full driving license is required. • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering. • Proficient user of MS office. • Proficient user of power simulation software (PSCAD etc.).
