📋 Description
• Provide high quality online chat and emotional support to clients • Work flexibly to support clients and provide emotional first aid • Be aware of ongoing chats and ready for work before shifts start • Talk to multiple clients simultaneously • Handle chats in line with service standards • Support other team members and communicate effectively • Complete required documentation and stay updated with service developments
🎯 Requirements
• Professional qualification in counselling – at least Diploma level qualification • Experience of working within a helpline-based service (on the phone or using text-based communication) • Specific bereavement training • Experience of supporting clients through bereavement • Continuing professional supervision (evidence required) • Continuing professional development (evidence required) • GriefChat Counsellors are registered with an appropriate professional body
