• Maximise student recruitment and ensure efficient delivery of the MBA programme • Coordinate programmes, academic integrity, quality assurance, pastoral care, learner performance, and progression • Liaise with programme teams, academic administration, marketing, industry, class representatives, students, and the awarding body • Deliver year-on-year increases in programme market share and identify learner-growth opportunities • Support teaching, learning, academic leadership, and continuous improvement • Encourage lecturer and academic-team engagement through virtual learning platforms and forums such as Moodle • Manage class recordings and monitor online engagement • Provide academic, pastoral, administrative, career-development, and work-placement guidance to students • Monitor learner progression, retention, attendance, motivation, and re-engagement • Oversee programme activities and compliance with Heriot Watt University and Griffith College quality-assurance requirements • Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and selection of lecturing staff • Review lecturer and learner feedback and complete annual monitoring and programme reports • Manage academic-year preparation, timetabling, room bookings, lecturer appointments, induction, and examination preparations • Support lecturers with assessment adherence/design, pedagogy, Moodle, and academic integrity • Act as the main point of contact between Griffith College and Heriot Watt University • Manage partner data sharing in line with GDPR and maintain accurate records • Manage dissertations, research modules, supervisors, workshops, blind marking, and viva voce examinations where relevant • Contribute to marketing initiatives, open evenings, inductions, graduations, outreach, and College events
• Typically possess an NFQ qualification one level above the level of the programme(s) or comparable experience in the relevant discipline • Student recruitment experience is an advantage • If not already held, commit to advancing teaching and learning practice through a recognised teaching and learning qualification (e.g., the College’s Level 9 Certificate in Education, Learning and Development programme) • Lecturing experience in higher education is preferred, ideally including previous experience in programme management • Knowledge and practical experience in the relevant subject area is preferred • Enthusiasm and commitment to teaching and academic development • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of College’s reputation for academic excellence • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Strong organisational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail • Commitment to educational quality, learner support, and customer service • Ability and willingness to work effectively as part of an integrated team • Other management experience in education, industry, or related contexts is desirable • Must be legally entitled to work full-time in Ireland for any employer
