📋 Description

• The Data Product Manager is responsible for defining the strategic vision, roadmap and execution of data products, operating at the intersection of business, technology and data, with the objective of translating business needs into scalable data solutions (data science models or analytics tools) that deliver measurable business value. • ** • Activities: • Manage and maintain a clear, long-term strategic vision for the data products under your responsibility, aligned with the company’s overarching objectives. • Create, maintain and prioritize a strategic roadmap, balancing short-term (tactical) needs with long-term (strategic) goals, considering business impact and technical complexity. • Identify new data product or feature opportunities by analyzing market trends, user needs (internal or external) and potential for monetization or process optimization. • Translate company business objectives (OKRs) into clear metrics and KPIs for data products. • Conduct in-depth research with users and stakeholders to understand their pain points, needs and the jobs-to-be-done that a data product can solve. • Serve as the primary bridge between business areas and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into technical specifications, user stories and clear acceptance criteria for data engineers, data scientists and BI analysts. • Lead the product backlog prioritization process, using frameworks (e.g., RICE, MoSCoW) to justify decisions based on value, risk, effort and strategic alignment. • Plan and coordinate the launch of new data products or features, including defining communication plans, user training and adoption strategies. • Define success metrics and monitor them continuously, using insights to iterate and improve the product. • Communicate effectively the progress, blockers and impact of data products to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. • Manage expectations, negotiate conflicting priorities and build consensus across different business areas.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working with data products or digital products as a Product Manager or in similar roles. • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban and/or others). • Familiarity with User Experience, design and innovation concepts and practices. • Familiarity with the data ecosystem (data architecture, data pipelines, analytics, data science). • Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. • Ability to combine quantitative analysis with qualitative research to develop hypotheses and make decisions. • Clear and effective communication skills in writing, speaking and presentations. • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment. • High planning and organizational skills, proactively signaling blockers and unforeseen scenarios at any stage of the product lifecycle.
