📋 Description

• Develop and maintain backend APIs and services in Java and Python, ensuring performance and scalability for digital subscription acquisition and checkout flows; • Build integrations with internal and external systems, including payment gateways and authentication providers, ensuring correct communication and operation between services and applications; • Implement automated tests and conduct code reviews to ensure quality; • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver consistent, scalable releases; • Apply best practices for versioning, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines; • Support junior developers in day-to-day tasks, sharing development best practices; • Contribute suggestions to improve microservices architecture and backend solutions, focusing on performance and conversion in the checkout funnel.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields; • Solid experience in programming with Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python (Flask); • Experience with REST APIs and integration with external services (e.g., payment gateways, authentication providers); • Hands-on experience with microservices, including deployment and event integration; • Practical experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and/or Python packaging (pip, Poetry, virtualenv); • Strong experience using Git and code versioning; • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including data modeling and query optimization; • Knowledge of cloud computing (preferably GCP); • Knowledge of Docker usage; • Experience with caching and messaging: Redis (cache and Streams/PubSub), RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Google Cloud Pub/Sub, including publish/subscribe patterns and asynchronous processing. • **Nice to have:** • Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes); • Experience with CDN, load balancing, and caching strategies; • Experience integrating with financial systems/payment gateways and/or banking APIs.
