📋 Description

• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement automated test solutions • Perform automated testing for REST APIs and other components • Validate API functionalities using RestAssured and Karate Framework • Integrate testing processes with CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments • Conduct thorough discussions on testing strategies with the team

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation or as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). • Strong proficiency in Java, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Collections Framework, Exception Handling, and build tools such as Maven or Gradle. • Hands-on experience in REST API test automation. • Proven experience using RestAssured for API validation and automation. • Experience with Karate Framework for API testing and end-to-end validation. • Experience automating Postman collections and executing tests using Newman. • Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing methodologies. • Solid knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, RESTful services, request/response structures, headers, authentication mechanisms, and API security concepts (OAuth, JWT, Basic Authentication). • Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines. • Proficiency with Git and version control best practices. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
