📋 Description

• Produce published insights and meet with Finance leaders (CFOs, FP&A, Controllers, Finance Transformation leaders) to advise on AI-related questions and challenges • Create unique, defensible and highly consumable business and technology insights addressing Finance AI priorities • Serve as a leading authority on finance AI topics: use case selection, pilots to scale, governance, vendor landscape, agentic AI opportunities • Stay abreast of external AI research and trends relevant to finance • Provide actionable advice to current and prospective clients via virtual and face-to-face interactions • Support business growth by partnering with Gartner’s commercial organization to create long-term client and Gartner value • Act as an internal advisor on how AI technologies impact the finance function • Create and deliver presentations for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings • Build personal brand as a functional Finance AI expert to drive Gartner’s insights, methodology and strategy

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years’ experience working on relevant finance function and technology topics • 3+ years of AI for finance • Career exposure to major finance processes and workflows, data sources and technologies • Experience with deployment of AI functionality in embedded tools and development of homegrown/company-specific AI solutions • Exposure to data science, quantitative analytics, statistics, probabilistic decision-making • Coding experience (preferably Python) • Backgrounds in math, statistics and physics a plus • Moderate willingness to travel • Polished communicator able to establish credibility with senior executives • Collaborative; comfortable connecting and coordinating with global colleagues and clients • Organized; skilled at multitasking and prioritizing under deadlines • Confident and able to make sound decisions with minimal supervision • Analytically savvy and naturally curious
