📋 Description

• Advise CIOs on technology sourcing, commercial strategy, and complex contract negotiations • Guide clients through their cloud investment lifecycle from sourcing strategy and vendor selection through negotiation • Lead guidance on large, complex negotiations with technology vendors • Provide expert guidance on cloud and AI licensing models • Help clients navigate and negotiate managed services and outsourcing contracts • Deliver research and recommendations to CIOs on technologies, markets, and emerging trends • Scale positions and insights to different audiences including industries and midsize enterprises • Present research and thought leadership in 1-to-1 conversations and at Gartner events • Support clients in evaluating and selecting vendors and solutions tailored to unique needs • Collaborate with other Gartner Analysts to develop comprehensive, actionable research • Provide sales support to help Insights teams create content • Be a mentor and a coach by supporting more junior team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience as CIO or Head of Sourcing, Procurement or Vendor Management • Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables • Demonstrate excellence in research and writing ability • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data • Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams in a multicultural global team • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
