📋 Description

• Provide technical and managerial leadership for end-to-end IT service design initiatives supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). • Apply domain expertise in service optimization to develop and implement innovative service design strategies that enhance mission effectiveness, operational efficiency, and user satisfaction. • Oversee service design activities, staffing, and methodologies, ensuring alignment with DoD standards and USACE objectives. • Lead the design and optimization of IT services that directly support USACE mission delivery and operational goals. • Establish service design goals, frameworks, and plans that align with DoD enterprise architecture and service management standards. • Direct and manage service design teams, ensuring effective use of innovation methodologies and appropriate staffing to meet project demands. • Oversee the full lifecycle of service design activities, from requirements gathering and conceptual design to implementation and continuous improvement. • Interface with USACE stakeholders, senior DoD leadership, and technical teams to align service delivery strategies with mission needs and user expectations. • Promote service design best practices, including user-centered design, agile delivery, and performance-based outcomes. • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity, acquisition, and governance policies throughout the service design process.

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "Secret" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. • Must have at least 14 years relevant experience. • Proven experience leading IT service design initiatives within DoD, federal or similar environments. • Strong understanding of service optimization, enterprise IT architecture, and mission-driven service delivery. • Expertise in innovation methodologies such as design thinking, Lean, or Agile. • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex service portfolios. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in military or government settings.
