📋 Description

• Lead the design and development of web and mobile solutions using JavaScript, React, and Guidewire’s Jutro design system • Collaborate with UX designers and cross-functional teams to deliver single-page applications and digital services • Apply CSS, SASS, automated unit testing, and server-side technologies • Mentor and guide development teams • Support migration projects from AngularJS to React • Use UX prototyping tools such as Invision and Sketch as needed • Work on customer-facing consulting and implementation projects for insurance clients, InsurTechs, and delivery partners • Travel for onsite client engagements as required

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with web technologies • 4–5+ years of experience with React • Experience or willingness to learn Guidewire’s Jutro design system • Experience building web/mobile services and single-page applications • Experience with CSS and SASS • Experience with automated unit testing using Jest/Enzyme • Experience with server-side technologies including JSON/RPC and REST • Strong English skills • Fluent in Japanese • Proven leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities • Effective communication and collaboration skills • Insurance industry experience is a plus • Exposure to Figma, Invision, Sketch, or other UX prototyping tools is nice to have
