📋 Description

• Use your technical expertise to design, develop, and maintain software components and products that support H&R Block business applications and transform our technology • Leverage AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to improve productivity, quality, testing, and documentation • Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production issues while contributing to long-term reliability improvements • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve engineering workflows • Take ownership of assigned features from design through deployment, monitoring, and support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience • 3 years minimum related work experience with the following: React / TypeScript Node.js Python • AWS or Azure (Cloud Exposure) • Exposure to REST APIs and event-driven architectures • GitHub Actions and CI/CD tooling • Infrastructure as Code • Observability and Monitoring Platforms (Datadog preferred) • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and drive outcomes in ambiguous environments
