📋 Description

• Take a consultative approach by understanding clients' financial goals • Establish rapport and trust with clients by consistently exhibiting empathy • Conduct tax interviews to support retail and DIY online clients through virtual tools • Review and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and small businesses • Analyze IRS transcripts to identify missed prior year filings • Offer ethical, credible advice regardless of client suggestions • Keep up to date with tax laws, tools, and technology for accurate service • Use H&R Block’s digital tools confidently to streamline the tax preparation process • Foster a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and collaborating with staff

🎯 Requirements

• Three years of tax preparation or review experience required • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred • Experience with IRS transcripts, amendments, and prior year return identification • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Strong knowledge of tax law • Analytical skills to interpret, assess, and resolve both routine and complex tax situations • Ability to work effectively in a diverse, collaborative team environment
