📋 Description

• Create new artwork and complete sets in Hadley Designs' established style across product lines. • Draw and illustrate original characters, motifs, patterns, and scenes in a cute, kid-friendly aesthetic. • Turn the Chief Creative Officer's concepts and creative direction into finished, production-ready product designs. • Carry designs from initial handoff through final build-out. • Own execution offload, including variations, full-set build-outs, and file preparation. • Prepare print and production files to specification. • Build mockups and product previews for listings. • Maintain on-style and on-brand consistency across product sets. • Maintain the living style-reference as the catalog grows. • Provide occasional secondary ad-ops support, including A+ content, storefront updates, CMYK ad images, and revisions to existing product lines. • Deliver original artwork, completed sets/SKUs, and assigned pieces on schedule while carrying projects from CCO handoff to production-ready.

🎯 Requirements

• Portfolio of original illustration work showing a cute, playful, kid-friendly, or product-design sensibility. • Working proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for native illustration. • Ability to match and extend an existing art style and complete cohesive sets. • Ability to interpret written and verbal creative direction and turn it into finished work. • Reliability with deadlines while managing multiple pieces concurrently. • Early-career illustrator with genuine drawing talent and interest in growing illustration craft. • Ability to learn a style quickly and carry work through completion independently. • Experience preparing print/production files to specification is nice to have. • Familiarity with children's, educational, or consumer-product spaces is nice to have. • Comfort with Notion, ClickUp, and file organization is nice to have.
