• Lead or support a wide range of commercial, industrial, and retail projects from concept through construction • Collaborate with other engineers and architects to deliver coordinated, code-compliant systems that perform when it matters most • Independently manage multiple projects and client types with minimal supervision • Design and draft fire suppression, alarm, and life safety systems, including riser diagrams, underground piping, and smoke control systems • Apply NFPA, IBC, and IFC codes to ensure full compliance and system performance • Perform hydraulic calculations, equipment selection, and specification writing • Train and mentor junior staff on company standards, software, and design best practices
• BS in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering (or equivalent experience) • 3+ years of experience designing fire protection or alarm systems • Professional Engineer (PE) license required • Proficiency in AutoSprink, Revit, and related design software • Strong understanding of NFPA, ICC, IBC, and IFC codes
