• Participate in the planning and implementation of forums, workshops, seminars, roundtables, data exchanges, symposiums, and/or conferences • Coordinate all aspects of events in accordance with customer specifications including assisting with selecting and negotiating event locations/sites • Coordinate with and schedule event participants • Promote speaking and attendance opportunities and manage scheduling • Develop event information papers, handouts, materials, advertisements, and after-event summaries • Identify key speakers/panelists with DoD oversight and input • Draft, coordinate, and send invitations (hardcopy and/or digital) • Track RSVPs and advocate for alternate invitees • Write after event reports to summarize proceedings and assess outcomes • Manage logistical arrangements for conferences including reimbursement forms, invoices, and reports
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance required • Preferably Military Officer background • Military background experience required • Ability to coordinate and facilitate in-person or virtual meetings or special events • Experience with planning and implementing forums, workshops, seminars, roundtables, data exchanges, symposiums, and/or conferences • Ability to coordinate event logistics, locations/sites selection and negotiation • Ability to coordinate and schedule event participants and promote speaking and attendance opportunities • Develop event materials and after-event summaries • Draft, coordinate, and send invitations; track RSVPs • Write after event reports and manage logistical arrangements including reimbursement forms and invoices
