• Researching and understanding healthcare system websites, databases, and reference materials in accordance with departmental and corporate policies • Researching and documenting requested information such as primary care physicians, dentists, specialists, eldercare services, nursing homes, and related resources • Identifying appropriate benefit plans and benefit offerings when applicable • Providing accurate, easy-to-understand research findings to nurses, advocates, and internal partners • Responding to member requests by delivering clear, specific resources and available options • Entering and maintaining accurate documentation within internal systems • Compiling research results in a user-friendly format to support member decision-making • Tracking cases and conducting timely follow-ups with members and providers • Ensuring all work complies with quality standards, internal procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and COBRA • Monitoring recurring research issues or trends and escalating concerns to leadership as appropriate
• A high school diploma or GED required; associate degree in business, liberal arts, healthcare management, or a related field preferred • At least one year of healthcare-related experience preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette • Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand and clarify requests • Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution abilities • Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to quality • Solid organizational and multitasking skills, including consistent follow-up • Comfort using MS Word, Excel, and web-based research tools • The ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) may be required based on assignment
