• The Director, Product Management is responsible for driving the development of our products, programs and services. • Build products, programs and services from existing ideas as well as be responsible for developing new ideas based on market research, industry experience and contact with customers and prospects. • Spend time in the market to understand its problems and find innovative solutions. • Focus on designing, building, and improving systems that automate business processes and streamline workflows. • Work with delivery team counterparts to define product release requirements and with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy. • Serve as the internal and external evangelist for Healthesystems’ product offering, occasionally working with sales and key customers.
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Appian platform or low-code, no-code solutions experience is required. • Workers’ Compensation industry experience is highly preferred. • Travel up to 40% of the time may be required to attend meetings and visit locations throughout the country. • Proven working experience in product management. • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its entire lifecycle • Ability to take customer and stakeholder needs, market trends, technical trends and own perspective to develop a product vision and associated strategies. • Ability to effectively communicate and present recommendations to executive management. • Self-confidence in dealing with ambiguity and changing market conditions to create solutions that will meet customers’ needs in the present and the future. • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and comfort with data-driven decision making. • Excellent intuition into the user experience with demonstrated success in creating innovative, user-friendly solutions • Ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and detailed product requirements • Strong technical aptitude and an ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs, and assess new opportunities with technical team members. • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
